About Ashleigh

Ashleigh Robinson is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a background as a qualified chef — a combination she uses to help clients feel confident preparing simple, tasty meals that meet their health needs.

She has been practising as a dietitian since 2019 and is especially passionate about developing creative, lifestyle-friendly solutions — such as personalised recipes, hands-on cooking lessons, meal guides, and nutrition education — tailored to each client’s needs. She always prioritises moderation and long-term change over fad diets.

Ashleigh takes a collaborative, no-judgement approach. She recognises that making change can be challenging and understands the real-life barriers people face — including budgeting, time, skills, and knowledge. Outside of work, she loves all things food and cooking, staying active, and travelling.

Clinical Interests

  • Personalised meal planning for NDIS participants
  • Diabetes management (Type 1 and Type 2)
  • Gut health and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Heart health and cardiovascular nutrition
  • Recipe development and cooking education

Ashleigh's Approach

Ashleigh starts by getting to know you — not just your health goals, but what your day actually looks like. She wants to understand what’s in your kitchen, what your budget looks like, what skills you’re working with, and what’s been getting in the way.

From there, she builds something practical. That might be a personalised recipe you can cook with your support worker, a hands-on cooking session at home, a visual meal guide, or just a few small changes that make mealtimes less stressful.

Ashleigh focuses on building confidence with food — not handing you a strict plan and hoping for the best. If something isn’t working, she adjusts. No judgement, no pressure.
