What we help with
Every Accelerate Nutrition service is available at the Dandenong clinic.
NDIS dietitian
A registered NDIS provider supporting self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants, in the clinic, at home or by video.
Clinical dietitian
Eating well around a condition — diabetes, heart health, and other chronic or complex conditions — alongside your GP or care team.
Weight management
Sustainable support through nutrition counselling and behaviour change, including for clients using GLP-1 medication or after bariatric surgery.
Food intolerance
Allergies, intolerances and sensitivities, with the aim of restoring variety rather than cutting out more than is needed.
Gut health
IBS, IBD, bloating and reflux, using low-FODMAP therapy and probiotic approaches while keeping the diet as wide as possible.
Sports dietitian
ISAK-certified support for athletes at every level — fuelling, recovery and body composition around a real training load.
If Friday does not suit
The Dandenong clinic runs on Fridays. There are two other ways to see the same team.
Home visits
Our mobile service covers the City of Greater Dandenong, the surrounding south-east and Greater Melbourne, plus some regional areas. We visit homes, group homes and care facilities, which suits NDIS, DSOA and Support at Home clients. A home visit also lets us see the kitchen and give hands-on guidance around meal prep and shopping.
Telehealth
Video consultations reach clients anywhere in Australia, including regional and rural Victoria. Most services work well online — clinical nutrition, sports, eating disorder support and pregnancy nutrition among them.
How people pay
A wide range of funding is accepted, so cost is one less thing to work out first.
NDIS
A registered provider, supporting self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants.
Medicare
Rebates are available under GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements.
Private health
Claim on the spot through HICAPS. Registered with Bupa, Medibank, HCF, NIB and all major funds.
Support at Home
An approved provider for aged care funding streams.
DVA
Department of Veterans' Affairs referrals are accepted.
Paying privately
No referral is needed for most services. Book directly, any time.
Every rate, line item and travel policy is published on the fees and funding page.
Common questions
Where exactly is the clinic?
Accelerate Nutrition consults from Eastern Medical Centre, 102 Cleeland Street, Dandenong VIC 3175. The consulting rooms are inside the medical centre.
Which days can I be seen in Dandenong?
In-person clinic appointments run on Fridays. Home visits and telehealth run through the week.
Do I need a referral?
Not for a private appointment — you can book directly. NDIS, DSOA and Support at Home clients need a referral form completed, and Medicare rebates need a GP Management Plan from your doctor. Support coordinators can start a referral on the support coordinators page.
Do you see NDIS participants at the clinic?
Yes. Accelerate Nutrition is a registered NDIS provider and supports self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants. Many participants prefer a home visit, and that is available across Greater Melbourne.
How far do you travel for a home visit?
Home visits cover Greater Melbourne and some regional areas. If you are not sure whether your address is covered, call 03 9791 4495 and ask.
The wider Accelerate Nutrition team
